Big girl time, Labor Day & surprise party

 The transition to my new class has not been to my liking, so sometimes Mom lets me watch a DVD on the way home.

 Mom stayed home one day last week & we had Mommy/Ellie Kate day - she did my nails!!!  (And my toes!)

 And of course, we baked.

 And I decided I was ready for a big girl bed.  I told Mom, "please take this front part off so I can get into my bed by myself."

 Labor Day weekend - we went to the zoo!!!

 When we go to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving, this will be my bed!  How fun is this?

We went to Nae Nae's surprise 50th birthday party on Saturday.  I love me some Nae Nae.

I had not had a nap prior to the party, so this is what I looked like about 15 minutes into the long drive home.  Thanks, Mom - so flattering.

 Daddy is very good playing, being my "baby."

 Yup.  That's a couple of A's.  And I wrote them.  All by myself.  No help.

 As long as I've got my trusty burp cloth, I can do anything!  Including going down front to the Children's Sermon during church on Sundays!

 We went to the baseball game the other night.  Me not likey the chicken.  At all.  I freaked out.  Twice.

 But I did get ice cream in a mini helmet!

 Mom washed out the mini helmet & now it's Bobo's hat!  Silly Bobo!

 Our new school "year" started this week & I wear uniforms now!

 They do up our birthdays at school.  We brought cookies & mini cupcakes for afternoon snack!

 And because Mommy believes you have to eat cake on your birthday, she brought home these three little mini cakes.  They were yummy.

 We went to BounceU last week for Stuart's birthday party.  After making Mommy jump with me for a while, I finally sent her out of the bounce house & bounced all by myself the rest of the time!

 Last Sunday, I graduated from the nursery to preschool at church.  It's going to be a little hard leaving Miss Barbara in the nursery, but at least we still get to see her through the connecting window!

I decided I like chips & salsa.  I killed about a 1/2 basket of chips myself AND ate my entire dinner.  Mom thinks I'm about to have a growth spurt.
