Our Trip Home

 Mommy snapped this picture on our flight out of Portland, yet another pre-dawn flight.  I hope Mommy & Daddy have learned their lesson about early morning flights.

 I'd had enough.  Time to nap.

I was so ready to get off the plane & out of my car seat that I went nuts on my activity mat when we got home!

People I Met & Cousin Garrett's Birthday

 Aunt Heidi & I are already acquainted, but it was good to see her.  She's super fun.

 I got to meet Aunt Heidi's parents Jack & Mary.  They were excited to meet me.

 And Pastor Michael.  He married Mommy & Daddy and I hear, just became a Grandpa himself!

"Thanksgiving" Day - a day late

 Because we didn't get to Portland on Wednesday & spent the day flying on Thanksgiving, we postponed & celebrated on Friday.

And I got to eat solid food for the first time!  Mmmm...bananas. 

 I got to meet Aunt Jana's mommy, Leona - aka Gigi.  She was very nice & made me smile!

Thanksgiving 2012 - part 2

 I was so excited about being in Oregon for the first time, I fell asleep getting off the plane, slept through a diaper change AND the whole walk down the concourse out of security!

 I have no recollection of meeting Cousin Garrett for the first time.

 Or seeing Grandma again.

Portland, OR Thanksgiving Trip - Take 2

 We got up early again on Thanksgiving morning (although not at 3am) & did it all over again at the airport - Mommy said it felt a little like Groundhog Day. This time we got to fly out...this is me on my first flight!

 

I had so much fun on the plane that I promptly fell asleep when we walked off the plane in Portland.  I finally woke up in baggage claim - here I am meeting Cousin Garrett for the first time & reacquainting myself with Grandma.



Portland, OR Thanksgiving Trip - Take 1

 I'm ready to go, Wubby's ready to go.  Wait, wha?  Midway's fogged in?  We can't fly out today?  Drats.

 

Mommy & Daddy took me to their favorite breakfast place when we couldn't fly out Wednesday morning & had to go back home.  We get up at 3am & stand in line upon line with hundreds of other people & don't get to fly out, Mommy & Daddy apparently needed breakfast to make them feel better.  :)
