 Our friends Mr. Matt, Miss Kim and twins Matthew & Jack came over Saturday night.  I had so much fun playing with them!

 

I also read here...at the doctor's office.  I was getting checked out before our big trip to Grandma & Grandpa's tomorrow!

Sleeping, breathing, listening, rolling & buried alive!

 Mom just never gets enough sleeping pictures.  Seriously, this is not exactly my most flattering pose.  

 Got my remote & doing my breathing treatment in my own chair.  (Still haven't made it a whole treatment by myself, but I'm getting there!)

 Mom & Dad got me these cool headphones so I can watch DVDs on the plane next week as we head to Grandma & Grandpa's.  Rock on.

I shall be transported in style throughout the airport.

Mommy summed it up by saying:  "The terrible twos are gonna be fun."

 

 Good day!  I got my Elmo shirt on.  I *heart* Elmo!

 

Some mornings, it takes a village to get through breakfast.  I had my binky, burp cloth AND Wubby Bear this morning.  Mornings are hard.

 At church yesterday, they got out the new handheld bubble machine.  O.M.G.

 I spotted the crayons yesterday & insisted on coloring a masterpiece.

 

 Friends Joe & Cheron were passing through town & took us to dinner.  I was having nothing of it.  I seriously ran at least a mile in laps around that place.  (So did Mommy & Daddy...hee hee!)

 

 I shall take my snack this afternoon, here...in front of the dishwasher.

 

 

The randomness of being 17 months old

At least Mommy always says it is.

 

I seriously love my new chair.  I can take it all over the house.  Here I am being a good little girl & watching a little TV while Mommy gets dinner ready.



I've gotta new blue dress!

 Mommy got me this cute navy blue dress recently.  Look at those cute ruffled sleeves!

 

 (Mommy apologizes for the blurriness of the pictures, but I move wayyyy to fast for her & her cell phone camera - ha!)

 

I actually took my breathing treatment on my own for about 2 minutes the other night.  Mom & Dad wish for the day that I can sit & do it by myself, but I think they'll miss the twice daily snuggle time.

 

 I was home with Daddy on Saturday & boy was he surprised when he saw what I'd been up to.  All by myself!  Got the bag of blocks, hopped up the stairs & just started building away!

 

 Tah-dah!

 

Look at my cute new growth chart!  Daddy hung it on the back of my door.  Can't wait for them to measure me.  I can't wait to get as high as Elmo!

Eating and stuff...

 I am finally coming around to trying more foods.  I like this corn bread stuff!

 

 As long as I can help with the spoon, I'll try it.

 Mom *finally* got this collage picture frame done from our one year/family pictures photo shoot...LAST AUGUST.  About time.

 

 When Mommy's at work & I'm home with Daddy, nefarious things happen.  Like wearing my hat indoors & swiping the TV remote!

 

 Aunt Heidi sent me some awesome puzzles for Christmas!

 

 I got to take my lunch in the den last week because Mom & Dad were cleaning the ovens & it was hot, stinky & smoky in the kitchen/dining room.  I got to watch Disney Junior while I ate.  Score!!!

 

Mama & Grandma say I look like such a big girl here!  School is training me well!
