Christmas is coming!

So yeah, the weekend before Gwamma & Dadpa arrive, I got a little sick.  I was quite reserved on Saturday, even sat in my chair for nearly two movies like this.

But I perked up when I got some ice cream!

Mom just HAD to take another sleeping picture of me because all my friends were turned over just like me.  Big 'wup.

Sporting my snowman glasses that Miss Wylene at church gave me!

Um, yeah - what's THIS guy doing at my program?  Me no likey.  I actually sat on the floor when he walked out the room down the aisle, I didn't even want to lay eyes on him.

But I sang my song "I want to be an Elf" super good!

See?  Still don't like the fact Santa is in the lobby where the cookies were.  Hrrmmph.

Wait a minute...Linus is now working?  (Our Linus wouldn't talk this year when we got him out of the box...)

What the...?  It's a Christmas miracle!  ;-)

Helping Daddy & Dadpa put up our snowflake lights!

Putting money in my bank.

Poor Mommy got sick after me, so Gwamma helped make cookies.

Watching TV.

Mommy & Daddy went to a concert & I got to decorate a whole lot of sugar cookies!

Whoa.

Off to the bank to deposit my money!

Helping Mommy get all the money in the change counter.

We're that much closer to Disney World!

It's continuing to look a lot like Christmas!

We had a little extra time in our crazy schedule on Saturday so we ran to pick out our Christmas tree!  I wholeheartedly approved of this one.

I am totally terrified of Santa, but this big blow up guy?  No big wup.

Mommy & Daddy's Sunday School class had their Christmas party last weekend.  This is Miss Rachel.  She's my favorite.  I always have to go say hi & get my hugs in before I can go to my Sunday School class.  And I wave to her in the choir when I'm up front for the Children's sermons.  :)

These are my friends Jorgia & baby Kade.  Jorgia is a year older than me & Kade is just 6 months old!  We have a fun group!

Shades!

Practicing our Preschool bells before the KOK Christmas play last Sunday.  Mom was just certain I wouldn't participate because I was so unsure during final rehearsal...

...but I was a total ham when I got up front & played my little heart out!  I had everyone laughing with my antics!!!

We finally decorated our Christmas tree last night.  I was very serious about my placement of every.single.one.

Daddy helped me put a couple up high!

Mommy too!

Peanuts window clings!

The finished product!

This was my "section."  Mom's hoping they don't all fall off, I put so many in one area!

My very first letter to Santa.  Yes, I want a truck.  :)

I guess I'd better get used to this, Mom snapping photos of me whilst sleeping.  Little do they know that after they put me to bed, I wander around & mix things up, because Mr. Snowman didn't go to bed with me.  I tucked him in with me, Bobo & Burp.  What more does a girl need for a good night's sleep?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We got back from Pittsburgh in time to go to the Hanging of the Greens for first Sunday of Advent at church.  Here I am expertly frosting a sugar cookie for our homeless friends.

Tall Daddy got the job of putting the ornaments on the tippy top of the tree!

Gwamma sent a bunch of Mommy & Uncle Fred's old Christmas books to us.  This one was Mommy's favorite and hello, it's 40 years old & the scratch & sniff areas STILL smell!  Totally awesome.

Quilt by Gwamma = excellent sleeping.

Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh

Off we went last Tuesday to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving.  Mom got me this awesome "snicker-doodle."  Mom kept informing me it's called a Magna Doodle, but I insisted on calling it whatever I pleased.

Oh yeah...I loved riding on the bellman carts!

 Yo.  'Sup.

Peek-a-boo!  I loved this little coat closet in our hotel in Pittsburgh.

My "forced" resting period, as I did not nap much on this trip.

 Aunt Mary C!

This hotel has waffles?  Good pick, Mom.

 AND a pool?!  Whoa.

Aunt Mary C got me this cool necklace as an early  Christmas present.  I'm so fancy!

 Aunt Kathy!

Pumpkin pie?  Yes, please.

 Me, Daddy & Pop.

 Me, Daddy & Acty

Drawing pictures while I wait...  (and yes, it appears I'm left-handed - who would've guessed that???)

A pancake as big as my head?  Yes please.

One of my brief napping periods in the car.

Mom really did good on the last hotel - we got fancy & had a fountain in the lobby!

 And hello, ANOTHER pool?  Sweet!

"Swimming" by myself.  Mom & Dad think I'm ready for swim lessons next year!

I may be afraid of Santa, but I just HAD to have this Santa hat.  I look pretty cute.

Me & Bobo saying goodbye to the fountain.

Just a-rockin' at the Tennessee Welcome Center.
